Wild Things

On the contrary of the 'A Thing for Things’ series where artefacts play the main characters, I've now concentrated on products of nature.
Mother Nature has undeniably proven itself to be one of the most treasured of muses.
The beauty of flowers, with their innate elegance and captivating presence, and the intriguing world of insects, with their vivid colors and bold, graphic patterns, are a great inspiration for a graphic artist like me.

'Wild Things' is a contemporary spin on the bursting Dutch flower paintings of the 17th century. A symphonic flower arrangement displaying my sense of awe and appreciation for the glory of nature.
