Nynke Tynagel for inCC: in association with ByBorre

A personification of the nostalgic deck chair. Depicting the internal workings of the human body in all its (guts and) glory.

Nynke has an affinity for her parents’ background in textile design.
Her father was creative art director at the historic textile company Weverij de Ploeg; her mother is a textile designer – whose archives are a big inspiration for Nynke and are often reflected in her work.
Therefore she was delighted to develop this innovative 3D-knit pattern together with textile pioneers BYBORRE, who did a great job in translating her vector work into a satisfyingly tactile textured surface.
